This course is based on the common syllabus of the "COMMERCIO ESTERO E TURISMO" economics degree.
The French language course is aimed at reaching students' exhaustive Spanish knowledge and developing good comprehension skills of economic and tourism technical language.
The course aims to consolidate knowledge of the French language, both written (grammar, vocabulary) and oral (comprehension and expression), dealing in French with different topics of economics, and to provide students with the vocabulary and skills necessary for their professional life. The level to be achieved is level B1 of the Common Frame of Reference.
The course is not suitable for absolute beginners. Students should therefore already know the basics of written and spoken French (A2 level).
The course will deal with different themes of the French economy, such as: enterprise, capital, employment, production, promotion and distribution of the product, finance, turism, all with reference to the business world in France.
The program of the exam is contained in the textbook "Le francais des affaires" - Ed. Cafoscarina.
We recommend purchasing a French grammar (e.g. FERRETTI-GALLIANO, Grammaire en poche, Hachette-Sansoni.) and a French/Italian vocabulary (e.g. Boch).

The examination consists of two parts:
- written part: grammar test developed by the CEL teacher (practical training)
- oral part: students will have to present orally one of the topics studied during the lessons using 2 or 3 articles from the French specialised press (10 minutes) and present a company of their choice (5 minutes). Personal opinions will be appreciated.
Each theme of the program will be treated follo through an article to read or a video to listen to and comment on). Some lessons will be dedicated to the preparation of personal work and the simulation of the oral exam.
