Firms competing in an international environment , rely on organisation design as one of the most important competitive leverages to gain efficiency, generate innovation and being sustainable in the long term.
The course will provide students with robust frameworks of analysis , based on key organization theories, by which understanding actual organizational challenges companies have to face. .
The course aims at providing the students with:
- a conceptual framework regarding the approaches that can be adopted to design an organization, based on the most relevant organization theories
- the knowledge of the main problems of organizational design at firm level
- the capability of analyzing, designing and evaluating the most important organizational solutions.
