Study of basic physical phenomena, mastering the fundamental concepts, laws and theories of classical and modern physics, as well as the means of physical research;
formation of a scientific outlook and modern physical thinking;
mastering methods and means of solving specific problems from various fields of science, in particular, mechanics, thermophysics, the ability to highlight specific physical content in applied tasks.
As a result of studying the PRINCIPLES OF PHYSICS, the student must
- to know: basic physical phenomena occurring in nature and matter; fundamental laws and theories of classical and modern physics; methods of solving specific physical problems; methods of physical research of phenomena and laws of nature.
- be able to: use physical laws to solve specific problems from various areas of physics; separate the specific physical content in the applied tasks of the future specialty.
The course is designed for students who have acquired a basic knowledge of a general course in physics, chemistry and higher mathematics.
