Mandatory Health and Safety Training

Starting with the 42nd cycle, all PhD students are required to complete the following mandatory health and safety training:

  • general training: 4 hours in duration and not subject to an expiration date
  • specific training: of varying duration (4, 8 or 12 hours) depending on the risk level and subject to renewal every five years.

The training must be completed before the start of activities; failure to comply will prevent the Phd student from beginning the scheduled activities.
Once the enrolment is finalized, the relevant offices will send PhD students an invitation to the general training course and the specific training course, based on the risk level associated with their academic and research activities.
