Refugees and beneficiaries from subsidiary protection will be able to apply as students to one of the hundred full scholarships that will offer total exemption from tuition fee payment as well as housing and food for the academic year of 2017/2018.

For the second year in a row, the Italian Ministry of the Interior, together with the ANSIDU and the CRUI of which Ca’ Foscari University of Venice is member, provides full scholarships for students with subsidiary protection, a key element in the integration process.

In the academic year of 2016/2017, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice welcomed three students coming from Pakistan and Nigeria as winners of the scholarship and supported them throughout the year through the Welcome Unit of the International Relations Office to best define their studies and objectives.

The three students benefited free of charge from housing and food, borne by Ca’ Foscari with the support of the ESU, regional agency for the right to education, and enroled for free in an Italian course at Ca’ Foscari School for International Education, SIE. They also attended English taught courses in philosophy, business and law.

Students who would be interested in applying for the academic year 2017/2018 within their first enrolment in a participating Italian university such as Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, or extend their previous 2016/2017 scholarship can apply by July 16th at midnight Italian time on the dedicated website: http://borsespi.laziodisu.it.
