The Disabled Students Service with the fundamental support of tutors offers several services throughout university studies, both for prospective and enroled students at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
Services aim at facilitating the autonomy of students with disabilities and/or learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia through successful integration in university life.
If you are a student with disabilities wishing to enrol at Ca’ Foscari, you will be offered a welcome interview to better understand the support assistance you will need on the basis of your disability and/or specific learning disability and you will be provided with through the enrolment process.
If you apply for a limited admission Bachelor’s Programme, you can request assistance for the admission tests.
If you are an enroled student with disabilities at Ca’ Foscari, you can benefit from accompanying services, support, and reservation of your classroom seat for courses and exams. Furthermore you can benefit from specific technological and human support such as a sign language interpreter and accessible education material.
Finally you can request mediation of the Disabled Students Service to help you with potential difficulties in your academic life and to interact with other structures of the university.
