Accepting your place in the ranking list and enrolling
Spring selection
The enrolment procedure of successful candidates consists of two mandatory steps:
- Accepting your place in the ranking list by May 18th, 2026;
- Enrolling from July 1st to July 31st, 2026.
Both steps are mandatory: failing to comply with these deadlines will result in automatic withdrawal.
Repechage procedures and deadlines are outlined in the call for applications.
The procedure consists of two parts:
- Filling in the online pre-enrolment application;
- Paying the pre-enrolment fee using the PagoPA system by clicking on the “payment” button at the end of the registration procedure. The contribution cannot be refunded.
Failure to comply with the deadline specified above results in loss of the right to register. If you encounter any problems, please submit a request by accessing this link: www.unive.it/faqsforstudents before the deadline.
You will be allowed to enrol only if you meet all the requirements by July 31st 2026, including obtaining your bachelor's degree diploma.
The process of enrolment consists of two phases:
- Updating the online enrolment application: access your Reserved Area, select “Immatricolazione” (Enrolment), and click on the button “Modifica domanda” (edit application).
- Paying the first instalment of the tuition fees: the payment must be carried out using the PagoPA system, by clicking the payment button at the end of the registration procedure. The registration fee paid upon acceptance of the place will be deducted from this amount.
The contribution cannot be refunded.
Failure to comply with the deadline specified above results in the loss of the right to enrol: if you encounter any problems, please submit a request by accessing this link: www.unive.it/faqsforstudents before the deadline.
Submitting the enrolment application and paying the first instalment does not guarantee automatic enrolment. The Enrolment Unit will review each request and complete the process within 7 working days. Once finalised, newly enrolled students will be notified via email.
Specific enrolment opportunities
Remember that it is possible to enrol in a degree programme requesting:
- status of part-time student;
- status of student-athlete;
- fee reductions and exemptions dedicated to students with a disability;
- simultaneous enrolment.
Credit recognition procedure
The procedure for enrolment with credit recognition from a previous academic career, intra-university or inter-university transfer, involves the evaluation of your previously completed exams and the subsequent issuance of a credit recognition form.
The Ca' Foscari University, according to the European directives that norm the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), recognises equivalence: 1 CFU = 1 ECTS.
You can request credit recognition for the activities carried out in:
- Master's Degrees, or Master's Diplomas;
- incomplete University studies as a result of withdrawal or lapsed status;
- single courses;
- Internship/traineeships/previous employment;
- simultaneous enrolment.
Regardless of credit recognition, admission to this program requires passing the admission test and meeting both the minimum curricular requirements and the necessary personal preparation. If you are recognised with more than 47 CFU, you must request admission to the second year of this master's degree programme through the dedicated procedure.
Year of Enrolment
The year of enrolment will be determined based on the number of recognised credits (CFU):
- Up to 47 CFU: Admission is granted to the first year of the course. You are required to sit for the admission test and follow the procedures and deadlines reported in the Call for Applications. Intra-university and inter-university transfers for admission to the first year are not allowed: if you get admitted, you must withdraw from your current course and enroll as a new student (ex-novo). You will follow the 2026/2027 a.y. study plan.
- From 48 CFU: Admission is granted to the second year of the course. You are required to sit for the admission test; your personal preparation will be assessed through the admission test. Additionally, you must request a place for enrolment in the second year via the procedure described in the "Application for admission to the second year" section on this page. You will follow the 2025/2026 a.y. study plan.
How to request your Credit Recognition Form
The request must be submitted within the following time windows, which align with the periods for assigning available places in subsequent years:
- first round: from April 7th to June 25th, 2026;
- second round: by August 18th, 2026.
As specified in the call for applications, candidates who enrol in the first year must submit their request at least 15 days before the enrolment deadline. During the enrolment procedure, candidates must upload their credit recognition form, approved by the Teaching Committee and duly signed.
Click on the button “Request your Credit Recognition Form”: by selecting your master's degree, your request will be automatically forwarded to the relevant Campus.
You are required to upload the following documents:
- a signed self-certification form listing exams. Please indicate for each exam: the name of the Course of study and class code, the name of the University, the name of the courses taken with their academic fields and disciplines sector and relative weight in CFU (ECTS), the mark, and the exam date. This document might be available in your University Reserved Area: if it is not available or, if all the required data is not listed, you may use the forms on this page;
- any exam syllabus in your possession.

Requests for credit recognition are to be submitted to the Campus. The Teaching Committee will evaluate your request. Once approved, the credit recognition form will be sent to you via e-mail. Please remember to sign the form.
In order for you to be an eligible candidate for this master's degree programme, you must meet all the entry requirements.
The Credit Recognition Form must be attached during the enrolment procedure. If you are transferring from another University you do not need to fill in any enrolment request; the Enrolment Unit will create it for you.
Enrolment with credit recognition is subject to the fee payment of 300.00 euros: the payment invoice will be provided upon confirmation of enrolment.
You are not obliged to pay if you request credit recognition for:
- activities undertaken previously at Ca' Foscari (for example, single courses) if the code of the lectures corresponds to that required by the study plan. In the case that some lectures do not fall among those included in the study plan, and consequently are listed among those that can be chosen by the student, you will have to pay the 300.00 euros fee;
- inter-university transfer;
- simultaneous enrolment.
Credits will be recognised according to the Linee guida per riconoscimento CFU [ITA] (CFU Recognition Guidelines).
Activities recognised through a completed Master's degree or Master's diploma will not affect the final grade. However, activities recognised from single courses or from an incomplete university career resulting from withdrawal, expiration, or transfer will be taken into account for grade point average.
Enrolment with credit recognition is not allowed to students concurrently enrolled in another University degree programme, for which suspension has been requested.
Credit recognition forms for Ca’ Foscari activities
Candidates who wish to request credit recognition exclusively for activities carried out at Ca' Foscari, with the same course code as in their current study plan (e.g., single courses attended at Ca' Foscari), can fill in the recognition form themselves and attach it, duly signed, during the enrolment procedure.
Credit recognition forms for activities completed at Ca’ Foscari will be available by April 7th, 2026.
Application for admission to the second year
In order to enrol in the second year you must apply for the assignement of available places: admission is subject to availability.
Application for place assignment
You can apply for a place assignment during these two periods:
- First round: places available published on June 18th, 2026
- application period: from 7th to 9th July 2026
- ranking list publication: July 16th 2026
- Second round: places available published on August 6th, 2026
- application period: from 25th to 27th August 2026
- ranking list publication: September 3rd 2026
The ranking lists will be drawn up on the basis of the evaluation of candidates' CVs and motivation letters. The Enrolment Unit will email successful candidates with detailed information about the enrolment procedure.
Those who get admitted in the first round must complete their enrolment by July 31st, 2026, under penalty of losing the assigned place.
To apply for a place in the first round, you must log into the Reserved Area, select "Evaluation Test" and choose "Ammissione agli anni successivi al primo dei corsi ad accesso programmato". The procedure will be open only during the application periods.
You must upload:

- self-certification of completed exams;
- your CV;
- a motivation letter;
- an identity document;
- self-certification of bachelor's degree with exams, useful for the evaluation of entry requirements (only for master's degrees).
The procedure allows you to submit the application, in order of preference, for a maximum of three programmes: if you select more than one preference, you will have to upload the credit recognition form for each chosen programme.
If you have never been a student at Ca’ Foscari you will have to:
- register on the website;
- access your personal area using your SPID or CIE (Electronic identity card) account.
