Rector Tiziana Lippiello commented: “This remarkable leap forward in the QS World University Rankings is the tangible result of the collective, strategic and sustained efforts made by our entire academic community over recent years. Gaining as many as 60 places in a single year, and several hundred over the past five years, is an achievement that fills us with immense pride. Through this growth, we have succeeded in halving the gap that separated us from the top of the global rankings. It is a clear sign that Ca’ Foscari is competing successfully on the international stage, thanks to the growing internationalisation of our research and our steadily rising academic reputation. These strengths are making both our University and the city of Venice increasingly influential centres for scientific and cultural excellence worldwide.”
