Curriculum vitae
Francesca Campomori is Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage (University of Venice Cà Foscari), where she teaches Introduction to Public Policies, New Social Risks Policies, Migration Policy and . She holds a PhD in Political Science (University of Florence). She is currently the coordinator of both the Social Sciences and Social Work degree course and the Welfare, Society and Social Work master's degree course. From 2004 to 2010 she was a research fellow at the University of Bologna, Department of Political Science. In 2008 she was Visiting Fellow at the University of Nottingham, School of Sociology and Social Policy, and in 2023 she was Visiting Fellow at the University of Vienna. She is a member of the editorial board of the journals "Mondi Migranti" and "Politiche Sociali/Social Policies". Since 2026 she is also co-chair of ESPANET Italia (http://www.espanet-italia.net/) and until 2026 she was member of the board of director of IMISCOE (https://www.imiscoe.org/). Her main research interests are in the field of immigration policies, especially from a local perspective, social policies and social innovation. From 2019 to 2022 she was project leader of a three-year INTERREG Central Europe project called SIforREF (Integrating Refugees in Society and Labour Market through Social Innovation). From 2019 to 2023 she coordinated the research unit of Venice in the PRIN "De bordering activities and citizenship from below of asylum seekers in Italy. Policies, practices and people (ASIT)". Currently, she is the project leader of the three-year INTERREG Central Europe project called GEtCoheSive (Governance Enanchement for Cohesive Societies), which started in April 2023: https://www.interreg-central.eu/projects/getcohesive/
