The course aims at bridging the gap between economic theory and managerial practice. Through a process of application of the principles, concepts and tools of economics to solve the managerial problems of a business enterprise, business economics support managerial decision-making. From a firm perspective the module explore those activities and functions associated with running a company, such as controlling, leading, monitoring, organising, and planning.
