LINGUA COREANA 1 MOD. 2

* The teaching language of this course is Korean and English.

This course falls within the characterizing teachings of the first year of the "Korea" curriculum of the Master's degree program in Language and Civilisation of Asia and Mediterranean Africa.
Its formative objectives fall within the area of language skills learning.

The objectives of the course are:
1) Language knowledge and language comprehension:
Complete the knowledge of grammatical structures of Korean at the intermediate level.
Knowledge of the Korean Chinese words and a higher level of vocabulary ability.
Knowledge and understanding of the usage of grammatical structures of Korean at the intermediate level (CEFR Level B1+/B2, TOPIK 4+ level)

2) Ability to apply language knowledge and comprehension:
Ability to identify grammar categories and their properties.
Demonstrate a general comprehension of Korean grammatical structures for the intermediate level.
Ability to describe constructs and grammatical phenomena of Korean, acquired during the course.
Ability to make correct use of terminology and basic tools of syntactic analysis acquired.

At the end of the course the student will be able to:
1. Read basic Korean Hanja vocabulary
2. Produce texts written in Korean, also with the use of technical and specialized languages
3. Fast reading academic and non-academic articles in Korean
4. Express thoughts and ideas in Korean

Having achieved (even without having passed its test) the learning results of the "Korean language 1.1 (MA)" class.

Week 14: Citing the Speech or Writing of Others
Week 15: Review

The final exam is divided into two sections:
(1) Written part includes exams of the grammar and the excersise (CEL).
(2) Oral part is available only who passed the written exam.
