CAREER SUMMARY
During my career, I have accrued a vast experience in research an in the critical analysis of medieval documents, in the management of complex data with information technologies, in the organisation of scientific conferences, in the scientific dissemination of research, and in the diffusion of my research to a non-specialist audience. My research focuses on the history of gender and religious history, giving particular attention to the relationship between institutions and personal microhistories. Recently, I have begun to focus my studies and research on the history of disability and of mental illness. For my gender research, I was awarded the “Franca Pieroni Bortolotti” International Award. My principal publications include: La laguna delle donne. In monachesimo femminile a Venezia tra IX e XIV secolo (2015); «Non ha utilità adguna alcuna». Essere disabile nel medioevo (2017); Alter-habilitas. Percezione della disabilità nei popoli (2018); Raccontare la follia. Le carte dell’ospedale psichiatrico San Giacomo di Tomba di Verona (2019).
