ERC Project AIMODELS - The Culture of Algorithmic Models: Advancing the Historical Epistemology of Artificial Intelligence. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MICROWORK: FOR A HISTORICAL ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AUTOMATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND THE DIVISION OF LABOR. Moving from a historical analysis on the genealogy of neural networks the project critically investigates, from a philosophical and sociological perspective, two key aspects of the human-machine relationship: the interaction between human labor and machine operations, and that between human cognition and algorithmic modeling.
