Irene AMATO

Da settembre 2025 sono assegnista postdoc MSCA (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) presso l’Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, dove lavoro al progetto “Syntactic functionality of motion verbs in Italo-Romance”, sotto la supervisione della Prof.ssa Anna Cardinaletti.

Prima di questo incarico, sono stata postdoc presso Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2023-2025), all’interno del progetto ERC LeibnizDream, diretto da Artemis Alexiadou, Uli Sauerland e Maria Teresa Guasti. In precedenza, ho lavorato come postdoc presso Universität Leipzig (2022) nel progetto DFG Syntaktischer Strukturabbau, con Gereon Müller. Presso questa università ho ottenuto il PhD in Linguistica nel 2022, con una tesi intitolata “Auxiliary Selection in Italo-Romance: A Nested-Agree Approach”, supervisionata dai Prof. Fabian Heck e Anna Cardinaletti, valutata summa cum laude. In precedenza, ho conseguito un Master in Linguistica presso l’Università di Pisa (con Alessandro Lenci), e una Laurea triennale in Lettere Classiche nella stessa università (con Franco Fanciullo).
