Eugenia Liosatou (New York, 1979) ha studiato presso il Liceo "Vallianio" di Cefalonia e si è laureata  in Lettere presso l’Università di Creta (2002). Ha conseguito la Laurea Magistrale in Storia Medievale presso l’Università Ca’Foscari di Venezia (2007), il Diploma in Tirocinio Formativo Attivo, Lingua e Civiltà Straniera (Neogreco) inerente l’abilitazione per la Didattica della lingua greca (2013) e il Dottorato di ricerca in Lingue, Culture e Società Moderne (Neogreco) (2015) presso lo stesso Ateneo. Ha seguito i corsi specifici per l’insegnamento di lingua greca(on-line): Percorsi verso l’insegnamento del greco moderno, nell’ambito del programma Sviluppo della certificazione della conoscenza della Lingua greca come Seconda Lingua o Lingua Straniera, presso il Centro della Lingua Greca di Salonicco (giugno 2011-maggio 2012); Letteratura Neogreca e Tecnologie Digitali (marzo-giugno 2016), presso l’Università di Ioannina. Svolge le esercitazioni di Lingua Neogreca presso l'Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia dal 2013.
Ha svolto lezioni di neogreco come esperto di laboratorio presso l’Università degli studi di NapoliL’Orientale (a.a. 2016-2018) ed esercitazioni di Lingua Neogreca presso l’Università degli Studi di Padova (a.a. 2009-2010). Ha tenuto il Tutorato presso l’Università Ca’Foscari di Venezia (a.a. 2012-2013) e Lettorato di Lingua Neogreca in qualità di C.E.L., Collaboratore ed Esperto Linguistico (a.a. 2013-2015). Inoltre, ha tenuto corsi di greco moderno presso il Liceo Classico ‘Marco Polo’ di Venezia (2007-2008) nell'ambito del progetto coordinato dall'ex IRRE Veneto, Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia e la Comunità Storica dei Greci Ortodossi di Venezia; corsi presso la stessa scuola (2008-2013) nell'ambito del progetto ‘Il greco nelle scuole del Veneto fra antico e futuro’ coordinato dall’Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia con collaborazione di Licei classici della Regione Veneto; corsi presso il Liceo Classico 'Raimondo Franchetti' di Mestre (2008-2011) nell'ambito dello stesso progetto; corsi presso il Liceo ‘Pigafetta’ di Vicenza (2013-2014); corsi presso la Comunità Storica dei Greci Ortodossi di Venezia (2011-2016).
Ha svolto attività di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Italianistica e Filologia Romanza dell’Università Ca’Foscari di Venezia (con prof. Gino Belloni) sul tema: Testi cretesi del tardo ’200 nell’Archivio di Stato di Venezia (2007-2008).
Ha collaborato come redattrice alla stesura del Dizionario Greco Moderno-Italiano e Italiano-Greco Moderno, Zanichelli (2013) e come revisore linguistico alla stesura del Dizionario Greco compatto, Zanichelli (2017).
Ha collaborato occasionalmente con la Procura di Venezia in qualità di traduttrice e interprete di greco (dal 2004).
Ha al suo attivo alcune pubblicazioni scientifiche di argomento storico-letterario e su specifiche questioni inerenti la didattica e l’apprendimento del greco moderno come lingua straniera; ha partecipato a convegni sulla storia dell’educazione in Grecia e su problemi connessi con la promozione della lingua e cultura neogreca all’estero.
Coordina attività studentesche, quali l’organizzazione della Giornata Europea delle lingue, incontri con studenti di altre università italiane e straniere, manifestazioni culturali aperte ad un pubblico più ampio.
Ha partecipato al progetto Antica Messene, presso il Liceo Scientifico Statale G. Fracastoro di Verona (2016-2017) e  al progetto Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership, ArchaeoSchool for the Future: a sustainability approach (Italy,Greece, Spain) in qualità di ‘teacher, trainer and researcher’ per creare materiale didattico di Lingua Neogreca (2015-2018).
 
Dal gennaio 2019 è delegata ANILS per il neogreco e Co-ordinatrice del
Centro di Esami per la Certificazione di Lingua Neogreca,
in collaborazione con il Centro della Lingua Greca di Salonicco (KEG)
