Student numbers for these courses must be limited, both for organisational reasons and in order to ensure that the lessons are as useful and beneficial as they can possibly be. Apart from joining the course Moodle page, students wishing to attend lessons are also required to send an email to the relevant teacher (Ewan Glenton, Nicholas Jones or Jo-Ann Titmarsh) to enrol, specifying precisely which course(s); all our courses are identified by a letter (A, B, C, etc.), and are offered in both the 1st and 2nd periods.

Before proceeding to the final part of the exam (monografico), all students must complete:

1 ‘writing’ course – either Academic Writing or Professional Writing;

1 ‘reading’ course – either English for Arts Management or English for Cultural Heritage.

Of course, all parts of the English Language exam (including these lettorati courses) can also be completed as non-attending students.

All English Language teaching during the 1st semester is reserved exclusively for BENI CULTURALI & EGArt. You can contact us to enrol from Monday 18th August to Friday 19th September (deadline for the 1st period) and until Friday 7th November (deadline for the 2nd period courses).

Please note: some of the texts for 2025-26 will be new editions; all the course material will be available for downloading on the various course Moodle pages as soon as possible (by early September at the latest).

English courses for LETTERE/STORIA/FILOSOFIA students are held in the 2nd semester; further info as regards those courses will be published in due course.

Don’t hesitate to contact us for any further information, clarification, etc.
