Risk management, internal audit & fraud (RIAF)

ItalianItalian

Language: Italian
Duration: 03/2023 - 03/2024
Format: Blended
LocationCa’ Foscari Challenge School
More informationRisk management, internal audit & fraud [ITA]

The Master in Risk Management, Internal Audit & Fraud - RIAF aims to train professionals able to interpret and manage the most recent regulatory and market dynamics related to corporate governance.

The risks that companies have to face on a daily basis have significantly increased in both number and complexity, as a result of technological innovations, regulatory changes and unforeseen events, such as the pandemic emergency. In this context, risk analysis and the establishment of an effective internal control system become essential, in order to create long-term value. Among others, the risk of fraud is one of the most insidious and, at the same time, underestimated problems. Indeed, companies suffer damages for fraud with an estimated cost of approximately 5% of the turnover.

Usually, the level of attention to risk management and internal auditing decreases with the size of the company. The recent Code of Business Crisis and Insolvency implies instead a cultural change, especially in smaller companies, requiring them to pay more attention to risk analysis and to the implementation of an internal control system.

The RIAF Master will allow students to work on specific cases and to face different scenarios related to the covered topics.
