Overview
The Marketing Management degree programme offers a comprehensive and innovative education, combining marketing strategies with the latest communication techniques. With courses in Italian and English, this program prepares you to tackle the challenges of an increasingly global market.
This programme aims to provide robust training that integrates solid and in-depth expertise in various areas of marketing with skills related to strategy, the ability to understand market dynamics, and the quantitative techniques needed for decision-making. The teaching method is highly hands-on, ensuring a strong connection with the business world through real projects, workshops, internships, and guest lectures from industry professionals and executives.
Thanks to a network of collaborations with companies and institutions, the programme enables you to acquire concrete tools to successfully enter the job market, whether in corporate roles or as an independent professional
The degree opens the door to a wide range of career opportunities in marketing and communication starting as a market analyst or a collaborator in strategic teams, and then progress to specialist and managerial roles in areas such as product, category, brand, communication, export, and digital marketing.
Alternatively, you can enter the field of communication and consulting agencies, with opportunities for growth in specialised and managerial roles in various areas such as digital marketing, social media, content management, branding, as well as key account management and strategic planning.
The programme offers a general overview of appropriate tools for planning and monitoring marketing activities. This framework is supported by the study of international marketing policies, the analysis of brand management issues, the development of new products, distribution channel strategies, and communication policies, both for profit and social aims, within national and international competitive contexts.
The study programme combines modules in business, economics, quantitative methods and law. Classroom teaching is complemented in two ways: during regular coursework through laboratories and workshops organised in collaboration with corporate partners, and during internship periods, through direct experience in marketing and communication departments within a variety of companies that maintain close ties with the course.
Courses and activities equip students with advanced knowledge and skills through innovative teaching methods that emphasise active student participation and interaction with professionals from businesses and institutions.
Career opportunities and professional pathways primarily follow three main routes. The first involves roles that typically progress into managerial positions in marketing, product, brand, category, communication, sales, key account, and trade marketing management. The second pertains to market analysis, especially regarding consumer behaviour, segmentation, positioning, and competitive dynamics. The third relates to consultancy roles in marketing, communication, and public relations.
