DESC members

The following are considered members of DESC by default:
DAIS tenured faculty, researchers (both fixed-term and permanent), and technical-administrative staff (PTA) who are involved in research and teaching in the following areas:

• 03 (Chemistry)
• 09 (Industrial and Information Engineering)
• 13 (Economics and Statistics)

Faculty, researchers, and technical-administrative staff (PTA) from DAIS and other departments at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice who are not engaged in the research areas listed above can still apply to become members of DESC. This requires submitting an application to the Centre’s Director and obtaining approval from the Executive Board.

Affiliation

Postdoctoral researchers, PhD candidates, PhD holders, adjunct lecturers, subject experts from DAIS, and equivalent professionals from other departments, universities, or national and international research institutes, as well as external experts, can apply for affiliation with DESC.

Partners

For collaborations with similar centres or laboratories at Ca’ Foscari or other universities, national and international research institutes, organisations, institutions, or associations aligned with the Centre’s objectives, it is possible to establish a partnership with the DESC Centre by submitting a motivated proposal through a member of the Executive Board.
