2024 ISBA World Meeting

Artificial intelligence, data sharing and regulation

This event, conceived as a satellite to the 2024 ISBA World Meeting that will take place in Venice, 1-7 July, is organized in collaboration with the prestigious and historical Fondazione Giorgio Cini at Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore. Prominent researchers and experts will illustrate the most recent advances and the future perspectives of research in artificial intelligence and statistics, putting particular emphasis on ethical and regulatory issues. The event will conclude with a roundtable in which distinguished experts, not only from academia but also from the public and private sectors, will talk about topics related to Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Ethics and Digital Law. A summary highlighting the key points of the discussion will be released and made public after the closure of the meeting.

The event is part of the 1st Summer retreat of the Ocean project, which will take place from July 7th to July 12th, 2024, at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
