Overview

The Master’s Degree Programme in Computer Science at Ca’ Foscari offers three recently revised curricula in the fastest-growing fields of the discipline: large-scale software development, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. 

Students will have the chance to join active research groups in these fields and to develop professionally through numerous connections with local companies operating in the tech sector.

The programme combines a broad range of laboratory-based activities with thorough methodological and theoretical training. The Master’s Degree (Class LM-18) grants access to the state examination necessary for registration in the Italian professional register of Information Engineers – Section A. The degree’s courses are regularly reviewed and certified with the quality mark of GRIN (GRuppo di INformatica – the Italian Association of University Professors in Computer Science).

The programme maintains an agreement with the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste for a joint programme in Computational Neuroscience, supported by scholarships for outstanding students.

Ca' Foscari has over 1,500 partnerships with international institutions, including programmes like Erasmus+ and Overseas, enabling students to study and intern abroad.

Ca' Foscari's Career Service guides you into the world of work with advice services, CV support, meetings with institutions and companies, and the search for and setup of training internships in Italy and abroad.

After graduation

according to Almalaurea surveys, employment rates are very high – close to 100% shortly after graduation

you can work as a data analysis specialist, artificial intelligence or cybersecurity expert, or large-scale software designer
