Curriculum vitae

Carlotta Sparvoli è Professoressa associata presso Ca'Foscari Università di Venezia, dal febbraio 2022. Il suo campo di indagine comprende la semantica delle espressioni modali, l’acquisizione della lingua cinese (con particolare riferimento all’acquisizione tonale) e la didattica del cinese come lingua seconda. Dopo aver insegnato cinese presso l’Università degli studi di Parma e l’Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, ha maturato una significativa esperienza didattica internazionale. È stata Presidente del corso di laurea magistrale in didattica della lingua cinese presso il Departimento di Asian Studies dell’University College Cork (Irlanda), con titolarità degli insegnamenti di linguistica cinese teorica e applicata e di traduzione. Presidente della Associazione Italiana di Linguistica Cinese, è menbro dell’Executive Board di Chinese as a Second Language Research (dal 2014) e della European Association of Chinese Linguistics (2011-2018), ha un’intensa attività di revisore presso diverse riviste e istituzioni accademiche nazionali ed estere. Sta completando una monografia sulla semantica delle espressioni modali.

Formazione

Dottorato di Ricerca in Lingue, Culture e società, settore disciplinare L-OR21, conseguito presso l’Università degli Studi Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, il 23 marzo 2012. Titolo della Tesi: “Deontico e anankastico: proposta di ampliamento della tassonomia modale basata sull'analisi dei tratti distintivi dei modali cinesi inerenti dovere e necessità” http://dspace.unive.it/handle/10579/1228

Laurea in Lingue e Letterature Orientali (Cinese) conseguita il 22 marzo 1991, presso l'Università degli Studi Ca' Foscari di Venezia, votazione 110 e lode.

Progetto di ricerca: "The inclusion in the taxonomy of modality of the category of the anankastic as a correlate to the deontic. A cross-linguistic comparison between Chinese and English modal expressions". 2012-2016 Assegnista di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Discipline Umanistiche, Sociali e delle Imprese culturali, Università degli Studi di Parma. Titolo del progetto: "La fonologia tonale del cinese standard. Analisi dei contrasti tonali con riferimento alle opposizioni fonologiche della lingua italiana", tutor della ricerca Prof. Guido Michelini.
