Shifting categories in early medieval Chinese histories: The “Good officials” and “Favoured and Undeserving” in Wei shu, Song shu and Nan Qi shu

The workshop consists in a series of four reading and translation sessions of the prefaces of the “Good officials” and “Favoured and Undeserving” biographical sections of three of the early medieval dynastic histories: the Wei shu 魏書 (History of the Wei), the Song shu 宋書(History of the Song), and the Nan Qi shu 南齊書 (History of the Southern Qi).
