Knowledge and understanding: understanding the meaning of the concept of Decision Making (DM); understanding and knowledge of methodologies capable of dealing with Decision Making problems. Qualitative description of DM and some model about. Introduction to Multi Criteria problems (normalization, aggregation), and some MCDA methods, also under uncertainty. Knowledge and understanding of multi-objective problems and elements of optimization.
Application of knowledge and understanding: be able to formulate and solve some decision making problems..
Prerequisiti
Contenuti
2. Linear algebra; vector and matrices. Inverse matrix, solution of linear systems. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors.
3. Linear programming with two variables
3. Elements of financial mathematics and Cost-benefit Analysis
Other optional arguments be eventually considered, like decision theory under certainty (MCDA) uncertainty and risk (tree analysis in particular), network optimization, basic of R language.
