- understand and identify the key features of the current state-of-the-art on renewable-based and sustainable process;
- review critically the literature on green and sustainable chemistry;
- perform a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the sustainability of a given process;
- apply the notions to ongoing research interests.

2. Glycerol e glycidol (1.5 h);
3. Sorbitol and isosorbide (1.5 h);
4. HMF and FDCA (1.5 h);
5. Carbon capture and storare (1.5 h);
6. Chemical valorization of CO2: non-reductive processes (3 h);
7. CO2 as monomer for the preparation of polymeric materials (3 h);
8. Chemical valorization of CO2: reductive processes (3 h);
9. Photochemistry (3 h);
10. Electrochemistry (3 h).
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Metodi didattici
a) lecture-style presentation;
b) research themes given to small groups of students, to stimulate discussion, analysis and findings presentation to the class.
