I was technical program chair / topic convener for the session: “Synchrotron, FEL and Beamline Instrumentation” for the international conference “IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference”, Vancouver, Canada, November 2023

I was topic convener for the session: “Synchrotron Radiation, Accelerator, FEL and Beamline Instrumentation” for the IEEE NSS MIC conference, Milan, Italy, November 2022

I was topic convener for the session: “Synchrotron Radiation, Accelerator, FEL and Beamline Instrumentation” for the IEEE NSS MIC conference, Yokohama, Japan, October 2021
Partecipazione come referees di progetti di ricerca nazionali ed internazionali
During the period 2023–2025, I served as Chair of the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) Detector Advisory Committee (LDAC), SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Stanford, USA, a role I have held since 2022. The role of the committee is to advise the LCLS top management on issues relating to the development, management, and operational support of complex X-ray detector systems used at the LCLS facility. https://lcls.slac.stanford.edu/people/ldac

In 2022 I served as a reviewer for a proposal submitted to the BES Accelerator and Detector Research Program of the Department of Energy (DOE) in the United States

In 2014 I served as a reviewer for the Discovery Grants of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada
