Main Research Interests

He is the author/co-author of more than 60 articles published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals (Scopus/ISI), of more than 70 contributions (as posters and/or orals) at International and National Scientific Conferences. The main research activities are in the field of Physical Chemistry. Current interests are mainly focused on molecular spectroscopy (rotational, vibrational and ro-vibrational analysis using both High Resolution Tuneable Diode Laser and Fourier Transform spectrometer, adsorption mechanisms) and determination of accurate spectroscopic constants, quantum mechanical modelling of molecular properties, molecular complexes, hybrid QM/MM simulations of biological systems and Ab Initio  thermochemistry. On all the topic listed above, he has active collaborations with many international scientific groups.
