Ph.D. in Environmental Science. Research facilitator at the Research office - International Research section at Ca' Foscari.

Main duties: active support to fund raising activities, strategic development, targetted communication in the initiative Research for Global challenges

Research interests covering different topics under the Societal Challenges of H2020: Health, demographic change and wellbeing, Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research, and the Bioeconomy; Smart, green and integrated transport; Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials; Secure societies - protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens

Specific fields of expertise including nanosafety - classification and grouping of nanomaterials for the purpose of hazard assessment; Chemicals environmental risk assessment - environmental fate of chemicals and their impact on the environment and on human health; in silico methods - interest in how mathematical models are implemented through regulations to assess the impact of chemicals on the environment and on human health

Previous working experience

Scientific support to the development of a classification tool applicable to nano-enabled products and on the definition of an ontology in support of the application of in silico methods in the frame of the H2020 project GRACIOUS at Greendecision Srl

Post Doc at the Environmental Chemistry and Risk Assessment Unit at the Department of Environmental Science Informatics and Statistics at the University Ca' Foscari of Venice - Prediction of environmental concentrations of emerging pollutants and their bioaccumulation in relevant species in the Lagoon of Venice (Venezia 2021 project funded by CORILA)
