Paolo Criscione, graduated in Environmental Science (Master's degree) at the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice, Italy.

Expert in the Disciplinary Scientific Sector BIO / 07 - Environmental biotechnology, at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics of Ca 'Foscari University

He is specialized in Remediation of polluted soil and groundwater. Currently he is part of the Teaching staff of the Second Level Master of University of Venice on “Characterization and Remediation of Polluted sites”; he teaches Remediation Technologies.

He is Director of the Environmental Division of, “DESAM Engineering and Environment”, a company operating in environmental monitoring, waste management, soil and water remediation, sustainability.

He has managed many projects concerning Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001, EMAS – European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) applied to productive organizations and districts.

Furthermore, he is specialized in the application of technical specification “VIVA Sustainability and Culture” of the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, developed for calculating environmental and social impacts and sustainability performance in vineyards and wine production.
