International call opens for the Director of Science Gallery Venice

Ca’ Foscari University of Venice launches an international call to select the manager who will be in charge of developing Science Gallery Venice, a unique space where science and art meet to inspire young people and to generate innovation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the communication of science, art and technology, combining cultural, interpersonal and managerial skills.
The Director will be immediately responsible for cultural and communication strategies and will manage the development of Science Gallery Venice towards the opening of its headquarters in San Basilio, expected in 2019.

Thanks to a programme of exhibitions and events in continuous evolution, Science Gallery will involve a large audience of young people and connect Venice with its scientific institutions and its dynamic cultural scene, to a global network with offices in Dublin, London, Bangalore and Melbourne.

Science Gallery in Davos

Meanwhile, Andrea Bandelli, director of Science Gallery International, is among the 40 'Cultural Leaders' invited to the World Economic Forum being held in Davos, Switzerland.
