Internships abroad

Ca’ Foscari promotes and organizes internships all over the world. Over the years the University has consolidated important relationships with embassies and diplomatic corps as well as with cultural centres, NGOs, Chambers of Commerce and with a large number of companies, in order to offer you the opportunity to participate in an internship in line with your aspirations.

Internships abroad can be set up for students (during their studies, minimum duration of 1
month, maximum duration of 12 months) and for recent first- and second-level graduates and
PhD graduates (within 12 months of their graduation, minimum duration 2 months and maximum
duration 6 months, including extensions, at the same host partner).

Useful information about internships abroad:

  • Following the decisions taken by the governing bodies of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, from February 8th 2021, it will be possible the resumption of physical Internships abroad provided that the University, the Host institution and the regulations of both our and the host country will allow it, before starting the Internship and while actually carrying out this latter.
Students are encouraged to verify autonomously these conditions and to consider the potential risks in terms of health, costs and possible inconveniences, of any kind, related to the fact of carrying out their Internship abroad.
If, after a careful evaluation, the students should decide to carry out the Internship in the country of the Host institution, they will be required to sign a declaration in which they release the University from any liability related to the ongoing Covid-19 emergency.
