Overview

The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Philosophy offers a strong critical foundation by examining major philosophical themes, both in their historical progression and in their theoretical expression. Through detailed reading of texts and reflection on various schools of thought, the programme helps students develop argumentative and interpretative skills.

It offers three specialised curricula (Philosophy, Philosophy and History, and Philosophy and Human Sciences), enabling students to focus on specific disciplinary areas. Besides offering an excellent basis for further study, the programme also prepares graduates for diverse professional opportunities in publishing, communication, cultural project management, education, and human resources.

Special emphasis is placed on the interaction between philosophy and other fields, such as the human sciences, psychology, pedagogy, and the history of science. Studying philosophy means acquiring rigorous tools for a critical understanding of the contemporary world.
