Overview

The Master’s Degree Programme in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities combines skills, research methods and professional approaches from both the humanities and the field of economics and management. The programme is attentive to developments in the national, European and global artistic and cultural landscape, and equips students with the competencies needed to manage artistic and cultural organisations engaged in international exchange.

Through its courses, teaching methods and the nature of the final dissertation, the programme enables you to work within the emerging intersections between culture and enterprise, and to explore the dynamic relationship between creativity and innovation, with significant opportunities for exchange and collaboration.

The programme offers two curricula:

  • Economics and Management of Arts and Culture (taught in Italian)
  • Economics and Administration of Arts and Culture (taught in English)

After graduation

you will be well-suited to work with companies, cultural institutions, museums, galleries, foundations, local authorities, and other cultural organisations in roles related to planning, organising, and managing cultural activities and events

you may work in the cultural sector as an assistant or manager in project management or marketing management, as well as in roles related to professional communication

you may gain experience as a curatorial assistant and strive towards the artistic direction of cultural events
