Overview
An innovative, interactive teaching method that emphasises the use of information and digital communication technologies provides students with a solid foundation of economic and business knowledge and skills, as well as expertise in statistics, IT, law, organisational sociology, and cross-disciplinary competences. The programme aims to train professionals capable of promoting and supporting innovation and renewal processes within public organisations, helping them respond effectively to current social and economic transformations.
Blended teaching aims to deliver high-quality training that adapts to the needs of a constantly changing world while offering considerable flexibility. It supports both collaborative learning and individual study paths. Through online forums, group projects, and virtual simulations, students can work together to address real-world challenges in public sector management, thereby improving their problem-solving and teamwork skills. This method is also more inclusive, as digital platforms make it easier to involve students who live in remote areas or face other challenges. Consequently, it promotes a fairer and more accessible educational environment, aligning with the principles of modern public governance that aim to foster social inclusion.
According to the 2025/2026 Academic Calendar, the programme’s teaching activities are structured across two semesters and four teaching periods.
Each course is blended, and includes in-person classes, live online sessions, and online content that can be accessed at any time.
During the first week of each teaching period:
- five in-person lessons are held at the San Giobbe Campus in Venice, from Monday to Friday, in the afternoon.
From the second to the fifth week of each period, teaching is organised as follows:
- five live online sessions, held in the afternoon and enabling real-time interaction between students and lecturers;
- five non-live lessons, which are accessible at any time and provide more flexibility for students.
Special consideration is provided for students with specific needs: working students and part-time students can access recorded lectures. This includes both online lessons and in-person sessions during the first week of each teaching period.
Depending on your background and individual circumstances, you might be eligible for various types of support – such as recognition of prior learning or work experience, part-time status, discounted enrolment in individual courses for affiliated institutions, or the PA 110 e lode scheme – as outlined in the How to section on the Bachelor's and Master's Degrees page.
