Overview

The Languages of Asia and North Africa for Business and International Cooperation (LAAMICI) degree programme offers advanced linguistic and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the current political and socioeconomic dynamics of the cultural region of your choice.

You will have the chance to explore:

  • specialised language use in legal, political, economic and social settings;
  • institutional systems and recent socioeconomic transformations, viewed from a historical perspective;
  • the connections between national processes and the wider regional and global context;
  • research methods and tools, including those utilised in the field of information technology.

You will learn the methodologies specific to each discipline and develop analytical and intercultural communication skills applicable across various sectors. This will enable you to create a flexible and independent professional profile, attractive to companies and organisations engaged in relations between Italy and the countries covered by the programme.

You can choose from four curricula:

  • Arabic countries – language of study: Arabic
  • China – language of study: Chinese
  • Japan – language of study: Japanese
  • South East Asia – language of study: Thai
