Graduated in Conservation of stone materials at the UIA (International University of Art) of Venice in 1997, she then obtained a Master's Degree in Chemical Sciences for Conservation and Restoration at the University Ca' Foscari of Venice 2007, with a mark 110/110 cum laude. Since 2009 researcher at the DAIS department of the Ca' Foscari University (scientific disciplinary field CHIM/12 Chemistry of the Environment and Cultural Heritage). Teaching experience: Laboratory of conservation II and chemometrics, with practical experience on conservation methodologies and diagnostics tools applied to Heritage materials (such as stone materials, pigments, frescoes and metals) (A.A 2009 – to now); Health and safety for teaching and research (A.A. 2015- to now) for the MSc Technologies for the conservation of cultural heritage Main field of interest and experience: applied sciences to Heritage; development of non-invasive and non- destructive analysis for Heritage science; characterization and study of historical-traditional materials (plasters, ceramics, stuccoes, etc.); investigations on the relationship between the environment and processes of degradation of materials, development and characterization of new products and applications for heritage, etc.. Practical/theoretical knowledge of the main diagnostic techniques: optical and electronic microscopy, thermal analysis, Raman spectroscopy Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR; ER-FTIR; FTIR-ATR; mTFTIR), X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction; inorganic mass spectrometry techniques (SC and MC - ICP - MS , ICP - OES); statistical data treatment and interpretation. Good practical skills and knowledge of restoration techniques and conservative intervention in particular on artificial and natural stone materials, metals, canvas and wood.
