Curriculum vitae

Sono un sociolinguista specializzato nelle lingue del Giappone. La mia ricerca si estende oltre la sociolinguistica e include la storia della linguistica, l'ideologia linguistica, lingue in pericolo di estinzione, e la comunicazione urbana. Ho esperienza istituzionale in Germania, Giappone e Italia. Pubblico e insegno principalmente in inglese, ma parlo anche tedesco, giapponese, francese e italiano. Ho avuto la fortuna di studiare con Florian Coulmas, Jiří Neustupný, Fumio Inoue, Shinsho Miyara e Josef Kreiner. Mi piace collaborare nella ricerca e nelle pubblicazioni con studiosi di tutto il mondo. Nell'insegnamento, spero di condividere la gioia di studiare.
