Tiziana Lippiello has been elected as the 23rd Ca' Foscari Rector, the first woman in the history of the Institution. She will guide the University for the next 6 years.
Last November, Ca‘ Foscari University was also badly affected by the exceptional acqua alta that put the city, its residents and its institutions under great strain. This is why the university immediately took action by launching a fundraising campaign to support Venice and its priceless cultural heritage.

Classes, exams and final projects will be operated exclusively via remote procedure. The university libraries will partially reopen on May 13th.
Thanks to the originality of his proposal in connection to the topic of this edition, the research-based artist became the second winner of the three-year Science Gallery Venice residency programme funded by Martine et Didier Primat Foundation.
