Ca' Foscari's measures for the red zone or orange zone from 7 April

As we await an official communication from the Government regarding the zone (colour) in which the Veneto region will be placed starting from 7 April 2021, in order to facilitate the organisation of activities and people, in this news we provide a summary of the measures that the university will adopt in case of either an orange or a red zone.

Student assembly renewal, vote online on 4, 5 and 6 May

On 4, 5 and 6 May, make your voice heard and vote to elect the students who will represent you for the next two academic years inside the University's governing bodies. Candidate lists must be submitted by 8 April 2021.

Covid-19: new measures for teaching activities valid until 6 April

Untile April 6, all classes and teaching activities will be held exclusively online, classrooms and study rooms will remain closed, library services are active. University buildings will remain open for technical administrative activities and research activities. 

PhD programmes at Ca’ Foscari: the call for applications is online

The call will be open until 1pm on 21 April 2021. Applicants can choose among 14 PhD programmes, with 88 scolarships being offered by the University. The investment in internationalisation is always increasing with 8 PhDs entirely in English, 10 international partner universities and 100 co-advisorhip programmes with 70 universities around the world

Ca’ Foscari prepares scientists to interrogate ancient ice

Ca’ Foscari participates in DEEPICE, a project funded by the European Commission that aims to equip scientists with the knowledge they need to understand the information on climate which is hidden in the deepest, most ancient ice cap in Antarctica.

The university’s position in the prestigious international ranking has risen in 12 subject areas. Ca’ Foscari is ranked 59th worldwide in Modern Languages and is the 1st Italian university to be included among the top 60 universities in the world for Hospitality.

The vaccination campaign for Ca’ Foscari’s personnel has been launched

The vaccination campaign of the Veneto Region has now been extended to university personnel. It is now possible to select a seat and time slot for the vaccination.
