New read&publish agreement with Taylor&Francis
New read&publish agreement with Taylor&Francis

Ca' Foscari has signed the transformative agreement between CRUI-CARE and Taylor & Francis for the period 2025-2027. This read&publish agreement allows corresponding authors affiliated with Ca' Foscari to publish open access articles in over 2,000 of the publisher's hybrid journals, without incurring APC costs. BALI-CFZ. Book presentation: "Hiroshima, il giorno zero dell’essere umano"

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 2.30 p.m., in Tesa 1 of BALI-CFZ, there will be the presentation of the book, edited by Luisa Bienati, "Hiroshima, il giorno zero dell’essere umano" [Day Zero of the Human Being] (Marsilio, 2025), with the participation of Chiara Valerio. The event is part of the "Leggere un 'Milione' di lingue" series, an SBA-BALI initiative aimed at engaging the Ca' Foscari linguistic community.

BALI and BAUM at "Ze​n ​and D.T. S​u​zuki" exhibition

Thanks to the loan of selected volumes, BALI and BAUM are present at the bibliographic exhibition Zen and D.T. Suzuki. A Bridge between East and West, open at the Ariostea Library in Ferrara from March 20 to April 18, 2026. The event, promoted by Doshisha University of Kyoto and the University of Ferrara, is the first national exhibition on Daisetsu Teitarō Suzuki and is part of the official celebrations for the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Italy.

The full-text database Sources Chrétiennes Online, the digital version of the homonymous series by Éditions du Cerf, is now available.
